"Treating Mental Illness: Social Duty or Just Good Business?". On February 22nd City Club will feature "Treating Mental Illness: Social Duty or Just Good Business?", presented by Anne Deacon, Human Services Manager for the Whatcom County Health Department; and Dennis Dashiell, Board Member of the Whatcom Counseling and Psychiatric Clinic, and Employee Assistance Program Counselor for Health Promotion Northwest.

Founded in 1993, the Bellingham City Club is a non-partisan civic organization with over 450 members that fosters dialogue and debate on important issues facing our community. The Club meets for lunch at noon on the 4th Wednesday of every month at Northwood Hall (3240 Northwest Avenue, Bellingham, WA). A buffet lunch is served at 11:50 a.m.; the program starts at 12:20 p.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m. Lunch costs $11 for members and $16 for non-members. All programs are open to the public.

International Women's Day: Screening documentary, Miss Representation. Community to Community is hosting an evening to celebrate women, recognize and challenge the barriers women face within society.

Community to Community, will be screening Miss Representation, a timely film exploring how the media's misrepresentations of women have led to the underrepresentation of women in positions of power and influence. The film will be followed by a dialogue led by multiple women from the community.

$5-$10 suggested donation at the door.
