Additional Information re the Charter Amendment Forum
In the video of the Charter Amendment Proposition Forum, during the discussion regarding Propositions 2,3 and 10, it was mentioned by the moderator that, "The online version of Proposition 10's ballot title asserts that it supersedes Props 2 & 3, if passed."
When this was brought to her attention our County Auditor, Debbie Adelstein replied, "The online version of the proposal had contained the original language that was distributed and when the final revisions were made we neglected to go back into the online version to correct it. I'm sorry for the confusion on this. Thanks to your pointing it out we have corrected the online version to match what is contained in the printed Local Voters' Pamphlet."
A statement has added in the Explanatory Statement of Proposition 10 to read, "A "yes" vote for this amendment is incompatible with a "yes" vote for either Proposition 2 or 3."
When asked what would happen if all three have enough "yes" votes to pass? Ms. Adelstein responded, "That may end up needing legal clarification."
Repeats will also be shown on BTV10, Comcast Channel 10. Program schedules may be found at cob.org
