In collaboration with Whatcom Community College, the League presents educational program for members and the public concerning the implications of the racial generation gap. What does it mean to our County? What does it mean to our Democracy? The US Census Bureau projects that by 2033 seniors will outnumber youth and by 2044 the majority of our citizens will be people of color.
Join the League of Women Voters of Bellingham/Whatcom County in a lively, interactive discussion of this national trend that is predicted to have a significant effect on our lives and our democracy in the very near future. The program will include handouts, a film and participant activities.
