For League members:
We’ll be registering voters and sharing information about the League at a non-profit community group fair on the opening day of the Bellingham Farmer’s Market on April 1st.
This will be an excellent and fun opportunity to talk about the League’s work, pass out copies of our brochure “They Represent You,” and to register voters. In addition, you can visit the farmers and craftspeople at the market and possibly see the Mayor do the traditional toss of the cabbage. If you’ve not registered voters before, I will partner you with an experienced volunteer registrar.
How can you help?
9:00 - 10:30 AM - One person to help our Voter Services Chair set up the table & kick things off
10:30 AM - 12 PM Two volunteers to register voters
12 PM - 1:30 PM Two volunteers to register voters
1:30 PM - 3 PM Two volunteers to register voters
Please contact Annette Holcomb if you are interested in volunteering for this fun activity! She is also looking for a canopy (10 x 10 max size) that we could borrow to protect us from rain (this is, after all, springtime in western Washington!)
