Countywide Voter Registration: EVERY VOTE COUNTS

Voter registration table at Juneteenth Celebration

The League of Women Voters is working to increase voter registration and participation. We are focusing the “Every Vote Counts” campaign on underserved populations, seniors and busy young adults. We will have voter registration tables at locations and events throughout the county to help people register, ensure their address is current, answer questions about the voting process and encourage them to vote.

The campaign will continue up to election day with a goal of increasing voter participation in the mid-term elections, (>59%), to the level of the general election (>80%). If you would like more information about the “Every Vote Counts” campaign, please contact Joy Monjure at joy.monjure@gmail.com
