Membership in the League of Women Voters is open to persons of voting age. When you join the local league, you also become a member of the League of Women Voters of Washington and the League of Women Voters of the United States. Benefits of membership include receiving League publications and The Voter, the newsletter of the League of Women Voters of Bellingham/Whatcom County.

Simply choose your membership level below. Please note, on-line payments include a 5% processing fee that will be added to your bill. You may avoid a service charge by printing a membership form and mailing it with your payment directly to LWVBWC.

Membership Dues

Individual membership: $60

Family membership (includes two individuals): $90

Associate membership: This is a non-voting membership. $35.

Limited membership scholarships are available. If you would like a scholarship, please contact info@lwvbellinghamwhatcom.org and briefly describe why you would like to be a member of the League and what you can afford to contribute towards your membership.

Please consider contributing to the League of Women Voters of Bellingham/Whatcom County at an honorary level. Only 15% of regular individual and family membership fees stay with our local league, with the majority going to the state and national leagues. These contributions are not tax-deductible, but they directly support local League efforts.

Susan B. Anthony - $200 in addition to your dues

You may also donate to the League of Women Voters of WA Education Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports non-partisan voter education activities. Your Ed Fund donations are eligible for tax deduction. Be sure to note “LWVBWC” in the comments section when you make your donation to ensure your gift supports our local voter education work.
