About this event
On June 14th the public is invited to gather at the Bellingham City Hall to protest the cruel and illegal actions of the current administration.
The League of Women Voters encourage its members and allies to attend. We think we have a bigger impact when we rally together, so we hope you will join us.
You are welcome to
bring your signs to the south end of the County Courthouse at around 2:45pm and we will walk over together. You may use our name-- LWVBWC--on your sign or leave a 6” square spot to add a League sticker. League signs should be related to democracy, the Constitution, the rule of law and the roles of each of the branches of government. Please, keep them nonpartisan and no names or political parties called out. We will have a table across from the City Hall on Lottie Street and will be in that general area.
In Everson: meet on the sidewalk in front of the Everson Market (210 E Main), from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
Note: Although this event in Bellingham may have been organized by a political party, it is part of a nationwide day of action against the federal administration's unlawful conduct. The LWVBWC does not endorse or support political parties or candidates, but does urge everyone to take part in their fundamental right to peacefully gather and protest.
