Healthcare Team Meeting Featuring Malora Christensen, Program Manager, GRACE Program
The Healthcare Issues Team invites you to join us at our virtual meeting on Monday, December 12th, at 10 am. (Please note the date change, effective for the December meeting only). Due to the date change the meeting will only take place via Zoom.
Malora Christensen, the program manager for the GRACE Program, will be our speaker. She will update us about the GRACE program and a new program ART, both part of the Whatcom County Health Department.
The GRACE program provides intensive case management to persons who are frequent users of emergency medical services, law enforcement, and the hospital emergency department. She also will talk about the ART program, scheduled to go into effect soon. The ART program gives dispatchers a third option for behavioral health emergencies, other than police or EMS. A behavioral health specialist and a public health nurse will respond together on calls that do not require police officers or EMS.
Registration is required to receive the Zoom link. You need to be logged in to register.
